Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander in an effort to thwart Grindelwald's plans of raising pure-blood wizards to rule over all non-magical beings. However Newt is unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. In the movie, lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested in an increasingly divided world amongst the truest friends and family. The studio announced Fantastic Beasts trilogy in October 2014. In July 2016, director David Yates confirmed that Rowling had written the screenplay for the second movie and had ideas for the third. The third movie is set to be released on 20 November 2020. Also, Rowling stated that the series would be composed of five movies.
