Theevandi is a political satire depicted through light humour where the protagonist Bineesh hardly knows a thing even about himself. The movie has depicted political satire unlike dark humour. The movie features Tovino Thomas, Saiju Kurup, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Shammi Thilakan as lead characters. Other popular actors who were roped in for Theevandi are Surabhi Lakshmi, Samyuktha Menon and Manu S. Pillai.
