The company has rigorously tested the Himalayan on adverse road and climate conditions. Powering the motorcycle is a newly developed 411cc LS4 engine, which is essentially a bored out version of the 350cc engine, that has been heavily worked on. It now features overhead cams compared to push-rods and is air cooled, which translates to a higher revving motorcycle.
