Incumbent Samajwadi Party leadership in Uttar Pradesh has completed the first round of assessment of its 229 sitting MLAs' performance and popularity to decide whether they should be renominated as party candidates in next year's assembly elections, SP insiders confided. About 100 of them could be denied tickets to beat anti-incumbency against the government though party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav is yet to take a call on that, party sources said.
