Tech giant Apple will set up an app design and development centre in Bengaluru to support developers in India creating innovative mobile apps for its iOS platform. The announcement comes as part of the visit of Apple chief Tim Cook to India. Cook, who arrived in the country last night, is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other officials as part of his trip.

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has filed his personal financial disclosure which shows that the real estate tycoon's net worth stands at over $10 billion. "Trump's income as reported in the personal financial disclosure (PFD) statement is in excess of $557 million (which does not include dividends, interest, capital gains, rents and royalties)," his campaign said in a statement on Tuesday.

Here's another attempt at offering cheap smartphone -- and this time, it's really cheap. Bengaluru-based Namotel is marketing Namotel Acche Din at an insanely low price of Rs 99, calling it India's most affordable smartphone. At a press conference, the company's promoter Madhav Reddy said that the smartphone is available for pre-booking from May 17 to May 25 on the company's website namotel.com. However, the website did not open when TOI Tech tried to book the smartphone.
