Massive fire broke out at the MG Road branch of UCO Bank in Bengaluru. The flames and billowing smoke triggered panic among the staff and other people inside the building. According to eyewitnesses, people were seen trying to jump off the building to save their lives. The six-storied building also has a coaching centre, a garment shop and a courier centre. Probably, the fire started near the elevator at the gournd floor. The government officials said four fire tenders were rushed to the spot to contain the fire. Sunil Aggarwal, ADGP Fire And Emergency Services, said the firefighters doused the fire, which did couse any human causalty. The fire department initiated a probe to check whether the fire fighting equipments were installed at the building or not.
