Mr Uday Shankar, President, The #WaltDisney Company APAC and Chairman, Star & Disney India was the Chief Guest at Bennett University’s First Annual Convocation Ceremony today. On this special occasion, Bennett University conferred the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Honoris Causa) in Media Management upon Mr Uday Shankar for his contribution in putting the Indian media industry on the global map. Addressing the fresh graduates, Mr Shankar shared, "Understand the power of asking questions and observing things. It has helped me in life. Also, don’t take yourself very seriously for our lives are like newspaper headlines - important today, but not so after a few days. So “today” is important in life. Try to make your “today” better. The future will automatically become better."
