Children's Day: Prisoners meet their children in Nagpur

This Children's Day brought some respite for inmates of Nagpur Central Jail as they were allowed to spend some quality time with their children. The jail authorities arranged a rendezvous for prisoners and their children in jail premises. The scene inside the jail turned emotional as the prisoners were seen kissing and hugging their teenage kids. Children's Day is celebrated in India on 14 November as a tribute to India's First Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. On this occasion, many educational and motivational programmes are organised to increase the awareness of the rights, care and education of children.
