Drought and water problem has reached its peak in several parts of state. With temperature soaring each day, getting drinking water in villages have become nightmare. In some places village panchayats supply water through tankers. Here, people of Kaikini near Murudeshwar in Uttara Kannada district line up to collect water from a tanker. Locals said they are getting water after three days and one family can collect only five pots of water.
