First train amid lockdown reaches Delhi

Hundreds of passengers from Gujarat and Rajasthan reached the capital as the first special train arrived at the New Delhi railway station. After deboarding the train, passengers gathered outside the station with no transport facilities are available for onward journey. The train departed from Ahmedabad at 6:30 pm on Tuesday and reached New Delhi at 8 am. The Indian Railways resumed the passenger train operation to ferry the stranded families and migrant workers. Many passengers waited clueless outside the station while some tried to hire the local cab drivers to take them home in New Delhi and other states. A group of 10 people, who worked at a factory in Jaipur, told that they are clueless how to reach their native place in Muzaffarnagar. Some passengers said they will walk on foot if they don't get any transport.
