Heavy rain lashes Mumbai, Thane

Mumbai and its adjoining areas received heavy rainfall that caused waterlogging in several parts of the city. However, there were no traffic disturbance reported and BMC has not diverted any rout due to waterlogging. BMC officials stated that they didn't receive any waterlogging complaint and rainwater in low-lying areas and roads receding. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) forcasted that heavy rains were likely to continue at isolated places.
