Land slide at Wadala Dosti Acres

A portion of a wall at Dosti Acres in south Mumbai collapsed due to heavy rainfall. Only D-wing residents have been asked to evacuate the building. However, Captain Viraf Motivala, Master Mariner (F.G), who resides in the same complex believes that it could also be builders fault—"Dosti Acres realty bought land between Dosti Acres and Lloyds estate, to build towers (approx. 60 storeys). A similar incident took place a year back, a part of podium had collapsed within Dosti Acres which was relatively a minor damage compared to this mishap."
