The Shaniwarwada fort being haunted has a story of betrayal behind it. It is said that the fifth and ruling Peshwa Narayanrao was killed by the guards of Shaniwarwada on the orders of his uncle and aunt and so his spirit still haunts the palace.

Dumas beach, Gujarat

This place in Surat is thought to be one of the most haunted places in India. It is said that the sand has been blackened on the beach from the ashes of cremated humans being placed there.
