The President of the United States Donald Trump and first lady Melania have tested positive for Covid-19. Trump took to Twitter to confirm the reports, he wrote, "Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!" Earlier, White House Communications Director Hope Hicks had tested positive for the virus after which trump said, "Hope Hicks, who has been working so hard without even taking a small break, has just tested positive for COVID- 19. Terrible! The First Lady and I are waiting for our test results. In the meantime, we will begin our quarantine process!" Earlier, Trump was criticised for asking a reporter to take off his mask during a conference at the White House in September 2020. Trump, who has been nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize, helped to broker peace between Israel and the United Arab Emirates in August 2020. Despite being crticised by the media or US government officials, Donald Trump has managed to win the hearts of the citizens of his country.
