The origin of miniature art, paintings and sculptures dates back to the medieval ages. Several art houses and museums around the world have collections of miniature artworks by various artists. From cuisines to airports, artist have always tried to make miniature versions of various life-size objects. Miniature artwork is made using plastic, resin, wood, tile, brick, metal, and stone. Tatsuya Tanaka, Thomas Doyle, Willard Wigan and many others are some of the most skilled miniature artists at present. These artists share their best works on social media and fans just can't seem to get enough. During an interview, Australian miniature artist Joshua Smith spoke about the challenges he faces as a miniature artist. "I think the most challenging thing is working out what to make certain things from. This is one of the main reasons I love doing miniature work so much; I love a challenge and the problem-solving skills that come with trying to figure out how to get miniatures to look realistic," Joshua expressed.
