In 1986, Usami Dai-Kannon was constructed at Shizuoka Prefecture, Ito City. It's fifty metres tall and the largest sitting statue in Japan.

Tokyo Wan Kannon is fifty-six metres tall, which is located in Futtsu, Chiba Prefecture. The statue offers a great view from above. On a clear day, Mount Fuji is visible from the top of the monument.
