David Lloyd laughs at Dhoni's decision to choose Indian army over West Indies tour

British commentator and former cricketer David Lloyd took a dig at MS Dhoni in his latest tweet. Before the selector's committee meeting for the West Indies tour, the former Indian captain revealed that he will not be retiring anytime soon, but he would skip the upcoming West Indies tour and join the army regiment. The news made several fans happy but David Lloyd took to social media to disrespect the 39-year-old cricketer. Lloyd made a laughing emoticon — "😂😂" before retweeting the news reported by a website which read ⁠— "Call of duty 🇮🇳 MS Dhoni will miss India's tour of the West Indies in August in order to serve with his army regiment." Dhoni's fans were upset with Lloyd's reaction and they trolled the 72-year-old former cricketer. One of the fans wrote, "If you cannot respect what you should, you better stay away. Feel sorry for this person, so-called England cricket legend doesn’t have a better job." Dhoni's retirement speculation has been in the news for a while but Chief selector MSK Prasad made it clear that the decision to retire rests with Dhoni, he said, "Retirement is totally individual and a legend like Dhoni knows when to retire.
