Murali Vijay gets trolled after Australian cricketer Ellyse Perry announces divorce

Australian sports star Ellyse Perry, who is considered to be one of the greatest female cricketers of all time, announced her divorce on social media with husband rugby superstar Matt Toomua. The couple was engaged in 2014 and went on to exchange vows in 2015. However, the couple recently released a statement on social media announcing their divorce. They said, "It’s with the greatest of respect for one another that we decided to separate earlier this year. We felt this was the right course of action and is in the best interests of each other and our current lives. This is something that has evolved and is a mutual decision. Throughout our relationship, we have remained private and we ask that our space and privacy continue to be respected during this difficult time for both of us." The news created a stir among cricketer Murali Vijay's fans. Earlier in 2020, Murali Vijay had called Ellyse beautiful and he also said that he would like to go on a dinner date with the gorgeous Australian. Ellyse took Murali's fans by surprise when she responded to the dinner request. The all-rounder said that she is flattered and hopes that Murali would be paying for dinner. Twitteratis poked fun at Murali Vijay after Ellyse released her divorce statement. One fan said, "Murali Vijay will be in a very happy mood today."
