The greatest batsman in the history of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar has revealed his favourite World Cup XI players. The master blaster selected five players from the Indian team and the rest from England, New Zealand, Australia and even Bangladesh. Sachin named the XI while commentating for the official broadcasters; he included some big names but there was no sign of MS Dhoni on the list. Prior to the tournament, the ICC named its World Cup 2019 XI in which Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah were the only Indians to make the cut. When asked about Dhoni's retirement speculation during an interview, Tendulkar said, "How many guys can have a career like this? He has had a special career. The support and belief that people have in him is a reflection of his contribution. People still believed that he could go and finish the game. The game was not over till the time he was out there."
