As the entire world is battling the novel coronavirus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is doing all that he can in his power to contain the spread of the virus in India. While many notable people have donated humungous amounts of money to the PM Cares relief fund, many are also taking to social media to spread awareness. PM Modi recently held a video meeting with all elite sportspersons to discuss the current situation in the country amid the 21 days lockdown. Virat Kohli, Anju Bobby George, Mary Kom and many other big sports stars were invited to be a part of the video conference. Cricketers Mahendra Singh Dhoni and K.L. Rahul were scheduled to join the conversation but were unable to due to network issues. During the conference, Modi asked the athletes to create more videos to spread awareness. He also asked them for suggestions that would help the situation. The Prime Minister asked them to include the following five points in their message to people — ‘to follow social distancing', to maintain positivity, to respect the frontline soldiers and to make contributions at a personal level or through the PM Cares fund.
