Max Verstappen wins 2022 French Grand Prix, see pictures from the F1 tournament

It's a big moment for Red Bull's Max Verstappen as he lifted the trophy at the 2022 French Grand Prix. The F1 champ won the race after Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, who started on poled and had the lead until then, crashed out of the race. Verstappen crossed the finish line some ten seconds ahead of second-placed Lewis Hamilton in his Mercedes. Meanwhile, Mercedes' George Russell finished third. This was Verstappen's seventh win of the season. The Dutchman has now taken 63 points to lead in the championship run and strengthens his chance of claiming a second successive drivers' title. Post the win, he took to social media to share the victory moment and wrote, "Good stuff!!! 💪 I’m definitely very happy to win this one and to pick up more good points 👊 The car was very good today and we managed the race really well.
