Sao Paulo GP 2022: George Russell wins his first F1 race in Brazil, see pictures

George Russell added his first Grand Prix (GP) triumph at Sao Paulo, also giving Mercedes the first win of their turbulent 2022 campaign. Following his victory, the British racer was left "speechless" and an emotional Russell was captured in pictures. The Mercedes driver could not hold back the tears after the win. "What an amazing feeling. Just a huge thank you to the whole team for making this possible. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster this season, this race," Russell was quoted saying in reports. He beat Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton, who finished second and Ferrari's Carlos Sainz Jr finished third. The 2022 season's final race will be in the coming weekend in Abu Dhabi from November 18 to 20 at Yas Marina Circuit.
