Manchester City ended their sensational season with their maiden UEFA Champions League title after beating three-time champions Inter Milan 1-0 in the clash at the Ataturk Stadium in Istanbul. The Abu Dhabi-backed City has already won the Premier League and FA Cup this season. It was Man City's midfielder Rodrigo Hernández Cascante, famous as Rodri, whose 68th-minute goal sealed the deal for his side. With this, City lifted the UCL trophy for the first time. The Spanish footballer has been named the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League Player of the season for his winning goal.
