The Games of the XXXII Olympiad also called the 2020 Summer Olympics is almost here. The international multi-sport event is scheduled to be held from July 23 to August 8, 2021, in Tokyo, Japan. Athletes from across the world have reached the venue and so did the players representing India. According to reports, a total of 127 athletes, including two alternate players and one reserve goalkeeper in men's and women's hockey teams respectively, will be a part of the rescheduled Tokyo Olympics. He qualified for the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 following an impressive performance in the 2019 World Championships held in the Netherlands. Racewalker Priyanka Goswami secured a berth in the Summer Olympics in a remarkable way. In the Open Indian Championship 2021, she set a new Indian record in the 20 km race-walking. As a result of her exceptional win, the Uttar Pradesh-born is all set to represent the country in women's 20 km race-walking in the Tokyo Olympics.
