It's an Olympics like no other and the Tokyo Games are surely that! The Tokyo Olympics 2020 has officially been declared open by Japan's Emperor Naruhito. The games, delayed for a year by the pandemic is finally here and athletes from across countries are ready to participate in various competitions. The President of the Tokyo Organising Committee Seiko Hashimoto greeted the athletes. She said, "I greet you all from the bottom of my heart." Hashimoto further added what Japan has been through during the planning for the Olympics and how the country recovered from a devastating earthquake and the ongoing fight with the pandemic. With no audience, it has the distinction of being the first Games without spectators. India had 19 of its athletes to represent the country during the grand opening ceremony.
