The medals for India in shooting increased as ace shooter Heena Sidhu took bronze in the women’s 10m air pistol event. The medal haul increased to nine during the Asian Games at the shooting range. India’s Manu Bhaker finished fifth in the same event. Heena Sidhu’s overall score of 219.2 gave her the bronze, Kim Minjung of South Korea finished second with 237.6. The gold went to Chin’s Wang Qian who made an Asian Games record with 240.3 at the event.
