After 11 days of action-packed sport, the Commonwealth Games 2022 came to an end on August 9, 2022. A glittering closing ceremony was held at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham. India's Achanta Sharath Kamal and Nikhat Zareen were flagbearers for the country at the closing ceremony. The Games flag was lowered and handed over to Victoria, Australia which host the next edition of CWG in 2026. Apache Indian gave a power-packed performance at the glittering ceremony.
