Katie Boulter wins first WTA main tour title with Nottingham Open 2023 victory

Katie Boulter won her maiden WTA tour title after defeating Jodie Burrage 6-3, 6-3 in a highly unusual all-British final. Both players were appearing in their first WTA finals after excellent performances in Nottingham but it was Boulter who took home the trophy. Sharing her victory on social media, the English tennis player wrote, "This little girls dream came true today 🥰 Maiden WTA in my home tournament 🥹♥️ It takes a team.
