Ramayan: Ramanand Sagar's magnum opus 'Ramayan,' which was first aired on Doordarshan from 1987 to 1988, was a hugely popular mythological serial based on the great Hindu epic. The show made a huge comeback on Doordarshan on March 28, 2020, amid the COVID-19 lockdown. 'Ramayan' broke all the TRP records and started trending on social media as well.
