RASHAMI DESAI: I am aware of my fundamental rights as a woman. Having said that, whichever show I have done, I have never had any worries as I was always treated with respect and felt protected. TV does provide a safe environment and on the sets, there is always a large number of people including a lot of girls be it assistants, make up artists, creative folks or production people.And the atmosphere is healthy on a daily soap.

DEEPIKA SINGH: I am aware of my rights as a woman and I am sure all women have started acknowledging rights like gender equality, equal pay, sexual harassment etc. It’s mandatory now that every industry follow these guidelines. One can take prompt action rather than becoming a victim as women are not safe anywhere.I am always alert and carry pepper spray, a sharp nail filler etc when I am travelling alone.

SARGUN MEHTA: I am very well aware of my right and am someone who has her guards up all the time. I believe everyone should behave properly. I fortunately have never had to use my rights. The people I have worked with have been extremely nice. TV to a larger extent does provide a safe environment for women.

SHAMA SIKANDER: I don't think anyone in our country is really aware about anything, unfortunately. I never had to worry because I was always very respected at work. And TV that way does provides a much safer environment for women than films.At the same time, I hear a lot about girls going through turmoil because of some miscreants, which is unfortunate.

ROOPAL TYAGI: I'm aware of women rights at work place as well as their fundamental rights. Often we tend to forget about all these, but circumstances teach us the need to remember these rights. I never had to worry about my safety while working. First, safety is ensured at shoots. Second, the crew comprises women too. Also, the production house is very careful about women’s safety. Working in TV is very safe.
