Karan Singh Grover begins shooting for Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2

TV and film actor Karan Singh Grover, who reprised the iconic role of Mr Bajaj originally played by Ronit Roy in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2,’ has started shooting for the show. TV czarina Ekta Kapoor took to social media and shared a picture of Karan as Mr Bajaj and wrote, “Hello Rishab !!! U are hardhearted as steel and sexy old wine .... An acquired taste like single malt ....u carry ur calculated casualness with a panther like walk!!!! Mr bajaj is back!!! Prerna now is going to torn between Anu’s boyish yet deep intensity n bajaj‘s age old charm !!!”. In the picture, Karan is seen in salt-and-pepper hair and is dressed in black suit and with clean-shaven look. Apparently, even his wife Bipasha Basu couldn’t stop gushing over him. Earlier, the original Mr Bajaj of ‘Kasautii Zindagi Kay’ Ronit Roy was happy about Karan Singh Grover getting the role and felt that he would do justice to it. Talking to an entertainment portal, Ronit had said, “I’m very happy for Karan bagging the role of Bajaj. I think he’ll do a great job. My good wishes are with him. May he and kzk2 attain much greater heights of popularity than I did.” Ronit felt that Karan was an experienced actor and said, “He’s a seasoned actor and doesn’t need my advice. All I can say is, be cool.” Reminiscing about his character of Mr Bajaj, Rohit added, “People still do call me that. It goes without saying that it was one of my iconic and career defining roles.” Ekta Kapoor had announced the return of the iconic character. Ekta took to her Instagram page and shared an old video clip of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ and wrote, "The time has come! To say bye to @ronitboseroy as d iconic mr bajaj!
