A self-confessed fan of Varun Dhawan and Tiger Shroff, Rahul also continued to hone his acting skills in the meantime, and ultimately landed the lead role in X-Ray. When asked about his debut film, he said, “The experience of working on my first film was exhilarating! I have worked very hard on the film, and it's literally a lot of hard work blood sweat and tears! I had to get my body in shape diet with exercise, proper sleep. All in all, my experience was fantastic, and the highs and lows have truly made the film something to watch out for.”

Further elaborating about his role in the film, and how he does not want to limit himself to a genre, the actor said “I don’t want to be the typical chocolate boy next door hero, I love to challenge myself with new roles and adaptive storylines. In X-ray, I play a psychopath, and it wasn't easy to get into character but once I did, I truly felt like I broadened my horizons.”
X-Ray: The inner image is slated for release in the second half of 2018.
