RASHAMI DESAI: Navratri is a very important festival for us. Being a Gujarati, I am also religious and believe in Mata Rani. We will be bringing home garba and praying. I also fast for nine days, and eat only fruits. Playing garba after prayers is a family tradition and I follow it. I simply love this festival.

SHRENU PARIKH: For me, Navratri is a celebration which has to be cherished only in Vadodara. I can’t imagine playing garba anywhere else. But, I don’t think my shooting schedule is going to allow me to go to Vadodara. I’m a little upset because of this, but I’m hoping to get at least a day off so that I can be in Vadodara.

ESHA KANSARA: Being a Gujarati, Navratri is a festival that’s very close to my heart. I simply love the vibrancy this festival brings with it. Although, this year I won’t be able to enjoy garba or dandiya because I’m busy shooting for my daily soap, I hope I have some time to make it to a dandiya venue— it seems tough though!

GIAA MANEK: Navratri has always been special for me. I love playing dandiya — this year, I’ll be visiting Surat and Ahmedabad during Navratri. I won’t get a chance to go to garba venues as my schedule is very tight.

JAY SONI: I am likely to celebrate Navratri in Mumbai this time around. I’ve started shooting for the second season of Sanskaar..., so I can’t expect a day off. In the evening I’ll head to dandiya venues in Mumbai. I might make an appearance at a venue or two. Navratri exudes so much positivity. And I simply love to soak in the spirit of the festival.
