As the array of lights illuminate the darkness in the streets, the confetti flying and dancing in the air, the aura speaks of something that is beyond the vista - Diwali, the celebration of the return of goodness. Check out your favourite television stars sharing their Diwali plans and childhood memoirs:
Hunar Hale: "Meet and Greet Everyone, Share love, Take blessings, Making
rangoli and lighting up the entire house is a ritual I've been following all these years till today from my childhood. But it will be for the very first time from this year onwards that I'm going to take part in lakshmi puja with Mayank and his family. I come from a Sikh family so haven't seen it in my house. I m God fearing so really looking forward to offering prayers to goddess lakshmi."

Roop Durgapal: "My fondest memory of Childhood Diwali is the one which coincided with my birthday. There was a huge double celebration at night with bonfires all around my house along with loads of fire crackers. I remember running around and playing with fuljhadis and hand bombs with my friends. Diwali away from my parental home is just another day for me. I just light diyas and do bit puja."

Reeth Mazumder: "My childhood memories of Diwali had always been the extension of Durga Puja. Being a Bengali by roots. I didn't want the month of October to end. First it was Durga Puja then Kali Puja and then Diwali the next day. Those were the best days and the best month for me. Fire crackers were definitely a part of my excitement till I got my first dog. My dog used to get really scared of the cracker noises so I stopped playing with fire crackers. He is no more now but he holds a huge part in my heart as my Diwali memories."
