Players who are not part of Indian squad for Ireland T20Is

The Indian team is ready and willing to try all their resources before Asia Cup 2023 and World Cup 2023. And this is perfectly evident from the squad released for the Ireland series. Jasprit Bumrah will make a return to competitive cricket as India's captain in its three-match T20I tour to Ireland as the BCCI announced a 16-member squad.

The selectors have opted to rest all of the senior team members with impending Asia Cup, due to begin a week after the Ireland series. Bumrah will be the stand-in captain in place of Hardik Pandya. The all-rounder has been reportedly given rest in order to manage the workload.

Ishan Kishan is a strong contender to be part of India's World Cup and he will be there in the Asia Cup squad as well. He is also among the players rested for the Ireland series.

Shubman Gill has been playing continuously since the Indore Test in March. The cricketer is given a much-needed rest before the Asia Cup. He is also confirmed to play in the World Cup 2023.
