World Jazz Festival brings together global talents in Bengaluru

Mumbai-based event organisers Banyan Tree brought the second edition of their World Jazz Festival to Bengaluru. The event was held at MLR Convention Centre in JP Nagar. The one-day festival was headlined by pioneering jazz/Carnatic guitarist Prasanna, legendary Dutch tenor saxophonist Alexander 'The Hurricane' Beets and jazz/hip-hop fusion artist Saskia Laroo. The festival featured an extraordinary line-up of eminent international jazz musicians from the Netherlands, USA, Thailand, Serbia, Brazil, and South Korea, to name a few. A host of Indian Musicians melded two resonant musical cultures together. The festival tour marked the occasion of International Jazz Day, celebrated annually worldwide, on the 30th of April.
