Pakistan is not desperate to resume peace talks with India, a top official has said. There was no restlessness on the Pakistani side for a dialogue, Sartaj Aziz, the Adviser on Foreign Affairs to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, was quoted as saying in a news report on Monday. Aziz also said that India never opened a window of opportunity for dialogue and goodwill with Pakistan.

A Congress-BSP tactical axis is clearly emerging in three states in the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections against BJP's all out attempt to mop up additional seats by sponsoring 'spoilers' against the Congress candidates. This axis could work in this weekend's Rajya Sabha polls in Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. Some senior Congress functionaries have already reached out to Mayawati for tactical support.

Donald Trump says he made ‘a lot of money’ in a deal years ago with Moammar Gadhafi, despite suggesting at the time he had no idea the former Libyan dictator was involved in renting his suburban New York estate. "Don't forget, I'm the only one. I made a lot of money with Gaddafi, if you remember," Trump said in an interview with CBS' ‘Face the Nation’ that aired on Sunday. "He came to the country, and he had to make a deal with me because he needed a place to stay. He paid me a fortune. Never got to stay there, and it became sort of a big joke."

Mohamed El-Erian , Allianz SE's chief economic adviser, said financial markets would 'understandably' not respond well if Raghuram Rajan is not given a second term as Reserve Bank of India ( RBI ) governor. "He is rightly deemed as one of the very best central bank governors in the world," El-Erian said in an email interview. "Indeed, few can match his expertise, experience and knowledge."

Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg's Twitter and Pinterest accounts were hacked over the weekend. A hacker group by the name of OurMine Team claimed to have gained access to Zuckerberg's social media accounts via Twitter. The group's Twitter account has been suspended, for now. Although the reports have not been able to verify the details as to how the group managed to hack Zuckerberg's accounts, OurMine Team claims the hack was made possible using the LinkedIn password dump that happened few weeks ago.
