Trekking enthusiast Jaydeep Jadhav married Reshma Patil while on a temporary 350-foot-long three-line ropeway in Kolhapur. The couple and a priest hung from the three ropes overhead as they performed the rituals on Sunday (July 31) over the 250-foot-deep Jakhani valley, 70km from Kolhapur.

Andrew Chan, an Australian drug smuggler has married his fiancee at an Indonesian prison ahead of his execution, media reported on Tuesday, April 28. Andrew Chan was arrested in 2005, for trying to smuggle 8.2 kg of heroin worth 40 billion rupiah (about $3.1 million) into Indonesia. Indonesian government officials have signaled the execution, will most likely go ahead this week.
