It was quite a showdown at the Asia Cup on September 25, 2018, as India almost let another game slip away. Mahendra Singh Dhoni was at the helm for this match against Afghanistan. The defending champions got a run for their money as Afghanistan posted a score of 252. After some good batting action from Lokesh Rahul and Ambati Rayudu, the batting order collapsed quickly under the bowling spell of an experienced Afghanistan team. The Indian team were expected to win this very easily. A good batting effort and some amazing deliveries led to the two teams drawing the game. India will play in the finals against Bangladesh on September 28, 2018.
