Herschelle Gibbs' autobiography "To The Point" was said to have sold
out in 2 days. Gibbs' plucky allegations of marijuana-smoking team
players and a few other comments enraged the South African cricketing

Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar's autobiography "Shoaib Akhtar - Controversially Yours" was not received well in India. The fast bowler drew a lot of flak for his comments on
batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar who he claimed to be fearful of
his bowling. Shoaib wrote, "I bowled a particularly fast ball which he,
to my amazement didn't even touch. He walked away!"
