2023 FIFA Women's World Cup: Japan's thrilling win over Spain in pictures

Japan, winner of the 2011 World Cup and runner-up in 2015 continued its 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup campaign with its final Group C match against Spain at the Wellington Regional Stadium. Japan eventually led to a 4-0 win. Hinata Miyazawa scored twice and Riko Ueki's stunning goal put the team in the lead with three goals in the first half. Momoko Tanaka added the fourth with another quality strike eight minutes from time. Japan will now remain in the New Zealand capital to play Norway in the last 16, while Spain will move north to Auckland to face Switzerland.
