The show will bring to light a social custom reportedly prevailing in M.P wherein daughters born in the Bedia family are forced to serve rich Thakurs of adjoining areas who have a penchant for young, teenage girls.

Varun Badola is known to be one of the finest and most consistent actors in the industry and has handled difficult roles with elan. Hence, he was the ideal choice to essay the colourful role of Vikram Singh, a larger than life character in his village who does not take 'no' for an answer. He is a philanderer who remains engrossed in self amusement. An unpredictable person whose arrogance stems from his wealth and power, Vikram Singh is fully aware of his responsibilities towards his family and fulfills them too but has scant regard for women in general.

"Phir Subah Hogi brings out the concept of women exploitation brilliantly. I was amazed to find that such customs are still prevalent in our society. The character I play is wise, learned, brave and a great leader but like every human being, he has a weakness - women - which is his Achilles' heel,"" said Varun.
